I feel so bad that I’ve had my blog totally abandoned here…but figured I’d come back with a bang with Julianna and John’s wedding at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich, CT.
This day was so spectacular that I want to describe it all — the crazy dance party with the Syrian drums, the stunningly decorated ballroom at the gorgeous hotel, the bride’s insanely insanely INSANELY lovely lace dress that I am obsessed with and could write odes to all day long, the kind families from both sides, the hilarious toasts, the perfect light during the Greek Orthodox ceremony.
But where I really need to start is with this couple. Julianna and Johnny and their big hearts and their big love — for one another and for everyone who surrounds them. Yes, they’re a physically beautiful couple, but they also have a beauty that radiates from within. There’s something about the two of them together that’s so loveable, that makes everyone want to know them, to be a part of their world. They have a way of making people feel comfortable and happy in their presence.
Julianna said to me several times, “I’m not stressed. I just really want our families to be happy today, to have fun. This is for them.” And they were. Their friends and family were overjoyed. It was an absolutely perfect day.
Hence this overwhelmingly large blog post 🙂 And full slideshow here!
